West Hartford Radiator Cover (WHRC) offers full design and build services. We do not mass-produce. We design and make limited quantities of well-built wooden radiator covers for fine homes. These covers are tailor-made to the particular space in which they will reside. They are intended to beautify the home and complement the existing interior.  As in the image show on the landing page, WHRC often produces radiator covers in the Arts & Crafts style that was popularized by workshops such as Stickley, Roycroft, Limbert, Frank Lloyd Wright, and others of that period.  WHRC’s radiator covers are constructed using top quality materials and the strongest traditional joinery methods; they are not simply glued and screwed or doweled together.  WHRC also designs and builds other built-in and free-standing furniture that can complement the style of the radiator covers, such as bookcases, tables, benches, sideboards, and wine cabinets.  

Image shown at left is an English Brown Oak refectory table designed and made for a chapel in 1982.

WHRC can work in all types of domestic and foreign woods and can create one-of-a kind pieces of furniture for special effect or interior mood in fine homes. WHRC can provide professional color-renderings of designs that allow the client to envision the finished object (see example of a rendering for an ecclesiastical lectern in Gallery below).
